One of the basic priorities of Harvest House is to provide a safe and secure home for its residents.
The following rules are expected of each person staying at the Harvest House:
We welcome children to stay with us with their parent(s), but the supervision and care of children are the responsibility of one or both parents. Outside day-care must be arranged for the children whenever both parents are absent from the House due to employment or other reasons.
The following rules are expected of each person staying at the Harvest House:
- Must be in sleeping rooms by 10 PM
- May not go out until 6 AM (unless required by employment)
- Must be actively looking for a job (30-Day Program)
- No alcohol or street drugs on or off premises
- No smoking allowed inside the buildings
- No profane language
- No gambling on or off premises
- No lending or borrowing from other clients
- No weapons
- No fighting or arguing
- May not go into other sleeping rooms
- Men are not allowed in the women's/children's sleeping quarters and women are not allowed in the men's sleeping quarters. Husbands and wives must sleep in separate quarters. Absolutely no sexual relations on Harvest House premises.
- Must participate in savings program (120-Day Program)
- Must wear clothes to bed
- Must do assigned jobs
- Call if you can not be at supper (660-537-4278 or 660-672-0176)
- Food and drink in dining room only
- Limit on all phone calls from House phone
- Responsible for your own medical care
- Must respect everyone's personal and religious values and beliefs
- If you "check out" of Harvest House for any reason, you may not return for six months
